Chart notes
REDDEN was bumped by foe at the start, prompted the early pace three wide, challenged the lead in the upper stretch before taking sole command in the final furlong and kept on. VECCHI sat a couple lengths behind the pace along the inside, angled out four wide in the stretch to improve position but was held at bay by the winner. JIM'S RIVER RUNNER settled back to be the early trailer, trailed for most until taking towards the five path of the stretch picking off rivals in the final furlong to be up for show. GRETCHENS MANE MAN showed good early speed, conceded the lead in the final furlong and weakened. VERNON'S BEST raced off the pace, never threatened. SEEKING FREEDOM broke a bit outwardly to bump foe at the start, stalked the early pace between rivals, began a slow retreat in the turn to trail in the final furlong.
