Chart notes
USUALLY WRONG pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and kicked clear while drifting mildly late. RYVIT tracked the pace setter on the inside through the opening quarter, navigated the bend from the three path and gained ground steadily to the finish. REXFORD led the way on the inside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and weakened in the final furlong. BROWNSTONE stalked the pace setter on the outside early, continued around the turn in the four path and faded in the lane. NEIMAN dwelt at the gate, trailed the field throughout, saved ground around the bend and made no bid.
