BABY'S LAST DANCE brushed at the start, racing from the back, made a steady gain, came around the turn on the outside, dueled to the wire and just missed. AMERICAN GUY broke in, bumped rival, raced within contention, made a mild bid and proved no match for the top two. Z STAR broke out, bumped, vied for the early lead, saved ground around the turn and weakened.
