Chart notes
ROBERTS REVENGE lacked early speed, moved up on the outside around the turn, made a wide bid and was going away at the end. TARKINGTON SUNRISE broke out, dueled for the early advantage, drove clear around the turn, but proved no match for the winner late. COUNTRY ANGEL pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout, proved no match for the top two, but was best of others. GOLDEN BARCENTS lacked early speed, raced outside around the turn, showed late interest, but was no factor. T D Z ZODIAC QUEEN pressed the early pace and weakened, while racing on the rail. NEON MOONLIGHT broke out, raced near the back and was never a factor. INSIPID void of early speed and showed little. SECRET MAGIC bobbled at the start, dueled for the early lead, dropped back and was outrun.
