Chart notes
MOBULA set the pace from outside, moved clear past the half, drew off in the stretch, held sway under steady handling. MONTY'S INN settled into stride near the inside racing last but one, was ridden passing the five-sixteenths, swung seven wide into upper stretch, gained the place outside foes but was no match for the winner. SKYLIGHT CAPER broke outwardly, chased from outside, went three to five wide, fought on to edge past for show honors. SIL'S GAMBLE chased from between foes in the second flight through the turn, kept on in late stretch. MOMANDA pressed briefly inside but soon dropped back off the leaders, saved ground inside the second flight on the turn, lacked the needed late kick. SPELLCHECK was bumped at the start, pressed briefly between foes, switched outside the leader and eventual winner near the seven-sixteenths, was under strong urging midway on the turn in pursuit from outside, failed to rally. BELLA CLASSICA bumped a rival at the start, lacked speed despite early encouragement, was outrun.
