Chart notes
WAVE WITH ENVY was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, challenged from outside on the turn, inched ahead at the quarter pole, shook free leaving the bend, drew off under a tap of right handed urging past the eighth pole, ridden out into the deep stretch and won handily. LANZADOR chased three deep to the stretch, failed to make a dent on the winner's lead but was able to best the rest. CHIEF RESIDENT broke a bit slow, stalked on the inside, got blocked behind MATTS ADVISORY from the quarter pole to the top of the lane, moved to a clear path and showed late interest to gain the show honors. MOCCASSIN PRINCE stalked between rivals, roused in the two path on the turn, asked left handed in the lane, failed to summon the needed response and lost third. SENOR TEQUILAS was off slow in the beginning, tracked four deep to the turn, lost ground around the bend, came three wide into the stretch and weakened. MATTS ADVISOR showed the way clear from inside up the backstretch, took pressure on the turn, lost command with a quarter mile remaining and gave way down the lane. THE GREAT G chased from out of range under coaxing, dropped back on the turn, exited the bend in the two path and failed to respond. MY FRIEND JOHN broke a step slow, lost ground climbing along early, saved ground on the turn and was never a factor. EPICTETUS came away slow on the outside and dropped back, continued at the rear three wide into the lane and failed to make an impact.
