Chart notes
NINJA STAR tracked the pace from between rivals under a good hold, then was patient two wide on the far turn and split rivals leaving the turn to make a three wide bid and drove clear in the final sixteenth to prove best. FULL NELSON set the early pace on the inside under a good hold, then relented the lead leaving the five furlong marker and then made a inside bid on the far turn while being ridden along and gained a short lead nearing the quarter pole and then was out-kicked late and had to settle for being second best. HONESTO was rated along the inside and cut the corner leaving the bend to make a bid but needed more late. SUNSHINE FROLIC was settled early two wide and was in between rivals by the nine sixteenths and then two wide on the far turn and had no significant rally. LEO MONTE was four wide into the first turn, tugged way up to prompt the pace and then took over leaving the five furlong marker and gained a short lead, then was headed by the three eighths marker and fought on to the quarter pole but tired in the final furlong. SPEED CONTROL was allowed to settle early, three to four wide on the far turn but had no rally.
