Chart notes
TUG hugged the inner rail disputing the pace, held a short lead inside the eighth pole, herded PAYNTED LION when drifting out under left hand urging near the sixteenth pole then soundly bumped that one when bearing out under left hand whipping inside the sixteenth pole. PAYNTED LION , five wide around the turn, challenged for the lead near the quarter pole, dueled outside TUG and bumped with TRIATHELON when soundly bumped and forced out inside the sixteenth pole. TRIATHELON stalked the pace behind horses on the turn, swung to the five path in upper stretch, was bumped inside the sixteenth pole and flattened out. PLENTY ON TAP stayed along the inner rail around the turn and through the stretch and failed to rally. RUNAWAY ROOSTER , three deep on the turn, chased the pace to upper stretch and faded. BOSS LILY disputed the pace between horses and weakened in upper stretch. DONUT DUST , four wide on the turn, chased the pace and weakened. STORMY BREW was not a factor. MICKEYMAC weakened inside horses. JOE CLASS was outrun. ANDIES PISTOLERO dropped back on the turn and was eased. PASS THE JUDGE , outrun, was eased. Following a stewards' inquiry and objections by the riders of PAYNTED LION and TRIATHELON, TUG was disqualified and placed third. An objection by the rider of TRIATHELON against PAYNTED LION for alleged interference in the stretch drive was not allowed.
