WESTERN MAN broke a step slow from the gate then was hustled along the inside to chased the early pace, rallied two wide and split rivals in upper stretch and was in a strong drive to take command then drew away in late stretch. LIL ELVIS stumbled at the start and the rider lost his left iron, recovered and vied for the lead from the inside into the turn, dueled on the turn then was in a long drive but weakened and held the place. ENGINE NINETY NINE was allowed to settled then rallied three wide in the stretch but was no threat. TWOSHAI S G A vied for the early lead while three wide on the backstretch, dueled on the turn while two wide then was in a long drive and faltered in the stretch. CODY THE KID vied for the early lead while between rivals on the backstretch, was used up then gave way. COUNTRY RIDER was unhurried early and no threat. LUCKY YOU trailed throughout.
