Chart notes
MCKINZIE RIVER opted to lead the second flight of horses through the first half, closed the distance to the first flight in the far turn, tipped out five wide at the quarter, rallied through the stretch to be up just in time. ZETTIE settled off the pace, loomed four wide through the turn to duel for the lead at the quarter, took sole command in the final furlong but got nailed by rallying foe at the wire. SUNDAY SLIPPER settled off the pace three wide, moved up through the far turn to split foes at the quarter, dueled for the lead until giving way at the quarter, began to come again in the final few strides but it was too late. KEEN GAL stalked the early pace from the two path, vied for command between foes in the far turn, faded at the three sixteenths. PERFECT UNION raced in the middle of the pack, settled off the pace after the first turn, retreated in the stretch, eased across. EXPECT A GUITAR showed good early speed, conceded the lead at the quarter and retreated, eased across. TWOPEPPEREDPENNIES was off a step slow, trailed distantly throughout, eased across.
