Chart notes
YANKEE DOODLE KID drafted off the top pair three wide down the backside, took aim same three deep placing leaving the quarter pole, battled outside THE HOUND through the final sixteenth, wore that one down under strong handling. THE HOUND broke sharp, set the pace along the rail into the far turn, took up the fight inside through the final sixteenth, dug in gamely denied at the wire. BOUNDFORABRUISIN stalked the pace two wide down the backside, quickened vie vied between runners leaving the quarter pole, no match from the sixteenth post, stayed on willingly for the show. RACING HOT LINE saved ground off the topflight into the far turn, roused on four wide through the lane, chased one paced to the wire. FULL PROOF rated off the pace down the back stretch put to task four deep leaving the quarter pole, outside rivals and running on the wrong lead, had no late impact. JUST FOR GIGGLES hit gate broke very awkwardly, raced off the pace and just off the inside, came under urging approaching the quarter pole, empty through the stretch. BID ON BLUE tracked the pace three wide leaving the first turn, under pressure from the quarter pole, gave way through the stretch.
