Chart notes
CHURCH PEW was allowed to settle well behind the pace through the early stages, responded when set down with three furlongs to run, came four wide into the stretch, and put in a strong finish under steady handling to be along in time. MARINAS TINA (IRE) tracked inside just behind the pacesetters, waited for room through the far turn, then bid up the rail into the stretch, finished well, but was outkicked by the winner and had to settle for the place. CAITLIN FEVER was unhurried from the start, settled at the back, saved ground through the turn then was blocked in upper stretch, shifted to the outside and run on to gain third. TIANMA tracked the pace to the half, dueled with though the far turn, briefly got a head in front in upper stretch before being surrounded by challengers and outfinished in the late stages. ISLAND JIVE settled outside in the tracking pair, always close up to the pacesetter, made a forward move into the far turn, bid four-wide at the top of the stretch, but could not find the needed response in the final yards. GUILTYOFHAVINGFUN seized the early lead and was left alone to dictate the early fractions, fought back when challenged by TIANMA at that point, but gave way in mid-stretch and had nothing left for the final furlong.
