Chart notes
FERRARI MONEY pressed AMERICAN BLESSING through the early stages, then bid for the lead at the quarter pole with MY BELLA FOR LISA a looming presence on the outside, pulled clear of both rivals leaving the furlong pole and held safe from a late threat to prevail. KAZAMATAZ outpaced through the early stages, kept to the inside through the turn, then tipped out four wide for the stretch run, made a late bid but came up short. LIBERTY CAP dropped to the back to trail far behind after a level start, started to run on late on the turn, and was flying late, but was too late. TONI THE GRRREAT pressed the pace four-deep in the early going, bid four-wide at the top of the stretch, then was not quite doing enough in the late stages. MY BELLA FOR LISA broke on top, vied three-wide down the backstretch, backed off the duel going into the turn, then re-bid for the lead approaching the quarter pole, briefly engages in battle with FERRARI MONEY in upper stretch, but weakened in the final furlong. AMERICAN BLESSING showed good speed from the start, made the lead near the half-mile pole with FERRARI MONEY pressing the issue to the outside, gave way late on the turn, and faltered in the stretch.
