Chart notes
PAM PAM , outside GIRVINIZED down the backstretch and around the far turn, bumped with that one when challenging for the lead in upper stretch, bumped with that one again near the eighth pole then drew away. GIRVINIZED made the early lead, remained along the inner rail controlling the pace, drifted out bumping the winner in upper stretch, bumped with that one near the eighth pole, steadied behind PAM PAM inside the eighth pole then drifted out more in deep stretch. ATLAS STRONG , three wide turning for home, took aim on the lead in upper stretch, angled towards the inner rail in mid stretch and flattened out. ROWSIE EXPRESS , three wide the first turn, chased the early pace and was done on the far turn. BAY STREET , four deep the first turn, chased the pace, circled the far turn three wide and weakened. VODKATINI , four wide the first turn, was outrun. SOLVING PROGRESS , outrun, hugged the inner rail around the far turn. An objection by the rider of GIRVINIZED against PAM PAM for alleged interference in the stretch was not allowed.
