Chart notes
IRONCLAD ALIBI tracked in the three path, was roused from the rail midway around the turn, kicked on along the inside down the lane to bid passing the eighth pole, drew clear around the sixteenth, and held sway. PAINT THE TOWN trailed in the two path, was driven around the turn, angled out to the five path at the top of the stretch, and rallied in the final furlong to get up for place late. STORMED OUT dueled for the lead inside, was pushed along around the turn, dug in from the two path down the lane, but flattened in the final sixteenth. C V JERSEY BEE vied for the lead in the two path, was coaxed along around the turn, fought on from the three path in upper stretch, but yielded around the sixteenth. CANNON MAN bumped with an inner foe at the start, stalked in the five path, was driven in the four path around the turn, but faded in from the three path in the final furlong. MIDNIGHT VOYAGE broke out and bumped an outer foe, chased in the four path, was ridden in the three path around the turn, but weakened. MAILS HERE got bumped and pinched between foes at the start, raced off the pace in the five path and did not threaten.
