Chart notes
MENDELSSOHNS MUSIC settled off of the contested early pace, saved ground into the turn then shifted to the two path nearing the quarter pole, swung four wide to upper stretch and rallied to the furlong marker, took command nearing the sixteenth-pole, kept to task into deep stretch and held over oncoming rivals in the final yards. REACH HIGHER was well placed while saving ground in the early stages, tracked the decent pace from the inside heading to the quarter pole, angled three wide to upper stretch, was gaining into the final sixteenth but could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and held for second at the wire. HUNTING FOR GOLD allowed to settle early on, swung six wide to upper stretch, closed willingly to the final sixteenth, could not reel in the top pair late and was clear of the rest for third. MOM SAYS contested the early pace from outside of BEAR ENCOUNTER, dueled that rival through decent fractions into the turn, took command into upper stretch and led to the furlong marker, was overtaken into the final sixteenth and yielded late. RAPPING RUMOR settled off of the contested early pace, swung five wide to upper stretch, could not find more into the stretch drive and finished evenly. BEAR ENCOUNTER showed good speed and disputed the pace to the turn, dueled through decent fractions to the quarter marker, was overtaken to upper stretch then weakened in the drive. LORD STERLING settled off of the early pace, swung to the six path nearing the top of the lane then was caught in traffic at the three-sixteenths marker, angled widest for the drive then had the rider lose his crop at the furlong grounds, ran in pursuit into the final sixteenth but could not muster the needed late response. SHAME THEM settled off of the early pace, coaxed four to five wide to the quarter marker, was caught a bit in tight to upper stretch then did not factor in the late stages. TEQUILALITTLETIME raced close up to the early pace while outside of rivals, ran in pursuit three wide to the quarter marker, chased four wide into upper stretch, was outrun to the furlong pole and gave way. BADGERS FACE was close up in the early going while inside of runners, lost position into the turn, dropped back along the bend and did not offer a late response.
