Chart notes
MARY'S BOY BOLT vied for command along the inside of the first turn, settled behind the pace up the backstretch, moved up to vie again through the far turn, took sole command at the quarter, kicked clear to be much the best. DATE THE PRINCE was allowed to settle off the pace, took towards the far outside at the three sixteenths, rallied late for the place award. BOLT FROM ABOVE was pinched back at the start to be the early trailer, began making progress four wide through the far turn, finished well for the show award. HARD SCHOLAR vied for the lead in the first turn, took command up the backstretch in the two path, challenged again by MARY'S BOY BOLT in the far turn until ultimately giving way at the quarter, faded in the stretch. NO TAKE BACKS was a step slow at the start, rushed up to find the middle of the pack and save ground through the first turn, weakened in the stretch. C MAC DA BOSS tracked the early pace three deep, closed some distance in the far turn but retreated in the stretch. SHARP STRIKE settled off the pace, trailed through the far turn, passed tired foes in the stretch. ARIES HONOR sat not too far behind the pace on the inside, began to slowly retreat at the three eighths. JACK RABBIT raced off the pace, made no impact.
