GOLD FIBER broke alertly, chased the leader into the turn, two deep pursuit from the furlong marker, drew on even terms leaving the sixteenth post, running on the wrong lead wore down inside rival, held off late closer under strong handling. NOTHING BUT HEIR bumped outside foe at the start, chased the pace into the turn, roused on four wide leaving the furlong marker, rallied late for the place. SASSY LAD slow into stride, steady progress inside leaving the quarter pole, clean rail trip into the lane, found best strides very late, rallied in for the show. RED CANDY APPLE broke a step slow, cruised up took the lead into the turn, collared nearing the sixteenth post, cloud not switch leads, flattened out to the wire. SUTTON VALLEY chased hard four deep out of the chute, pressed on around the turn, had no late punch. COVERT KAT pressed three wide off the pace around the turn, came up empty. JUBA BOUND bumped at the start, lacked recovery speed into the turn, four wide upper, never threatened. FU MAN SUE extremely fractious in the gate, reloaded, trailed throughout.
