Chart notes
CHIRAG showed good speed away from the start, dueled inside of a pair of rivals into the turn, shook free into upper stretch, kept to task while on the left lead into the final furlong and held sway to the wire. DORIS AVENUE tracked the early pace four wide, shifted to the rail into the turn and chased from the inside heading to top of the stretch, chased the winner to the final sixteenth, could not find more into deep stretch and was second best. MANZONI settled off of the early pace and saved ground into the turn, swung three then two wide into the lane, could not muster the needed final response but was clear in the end for third. ATTA BOY LLOYD dueled for early pace duties while three deep, disputed the pace three wide into the turn, was outkicked to the furlong grounds and faded late. THRUST showed good early speed and dueled between rivals into the turn, disputed the pace to the quarter marker, gave way into the stretch and could not find more in the late stages. SET POINT got crowded a bit at the start but was away in good order, settled off of the early pace and trailed into the turn, lacked a response to upper stretch and was not persevered with late.
