Chart notes
IZZY'S BABY BOY vied for the early lead, took command around the final turn, drove clear and finished well. DRIED PEPPER dueled on the front end, saved ground, proved no match for the winner, but held on for second. B MINOR raced in the middle of the field, made a late bid and outfinished for second. BACKFIRE pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout, lacked a late kick and was outfinished for third. BILOXI lacked early speed, moved up, while racing inside, but was no real factor. COLONEL BARTON raced evenly near the back and lacked a rally. PINCH ME A PENNY raced within contention, came around the second turn on the outside and faded. EASY BIG BOY lacked early speed and was never close. DIXIE STREET always raced near the back and was outrun. WARP RIDE challenged for the early lead, was finished early and dropped back.
