ALYVIA MAVIS bumped with a rival at the start, was forwardly placed on the outside under some urging, gained in the five path on the turn, took the lead outside the quarter-pole, dropped to the three path while moving clear into the stretch and drew off under steady urging to prove much the best. A. P. SLINGSHOT was ridden along at the rear, went around the turn in the two path, swung out to the six path into upper stretch and improved for the place. FIRE AGATE broke out and bumped with foes on both sides then was squeezed back, settled on the outside, dropped from the six path to the four path early on the turn, moved to the five path under urging late on that bend, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed response while narrowly able to get the show. KAT STORMY was hustled from the gate, established a good position just off the pace, went around most of the turn in the two path then shifted to the three path, was asked for her best in upper stretch and also lacked the needed response then just missed the show. FROGHOLLOWSUMMER pressed the pace on the outside, took the lead in the three path outside the three-eighths pole, lost the advantage to the winner outside the quarter-pole and weakened. PUREST PERFORMANCE broke out and brushed the gate, chased the pace on the outside, made a bid in the four path on the turn, had the rider lose his crop outside the quarter-pole, dropped back into the stretch and faded. CHARMEUSE was urged along off the pace, dropped back late on the backstretch, saved ground on the turn and capitulated. ARGENTIERA broke out and bumped with a foe, was ridden along towards the rear on the outside, dropped from the five path to the four path late on the turn and was no factor.
