Chart notes
POPPY RED shied outward, from rival, quickly went to front, drove clear, inside turn and won under steady urging. FAYE L. raced within contention, made a bid around the turn, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. LUCKY JUAN lacked early speed, gained ground late, but proved no match for the top two. DELPHINE raced near the back in the beginning, came around the turn on the outside, made a wide bid, but was no factor. LITTLE MILLIE pressed the early pace, faded and was no threat late. BOSTON ELLE raced within striking distance, saved ground and faded on the inside. A REAL EMBRACE broke slow and was never close. MY OH MYA broke out, raced within contention and dropped back.
