Chart notes
CELTIC PRIDE sprinted to the front, drove clear, led throughout and was kept to the task. FEATHERS ROAD unhurried in the beginning, made a steady gain, came around the second turn on the outside, proved no match for the winner, but was best of others. RHUM SAINT ESPRIT raced within contention, forwardly placed throughout and proved no match for the top two. TIZ MARKS SPIRIT lacked early speed, showed late interest, but was no real factor. PURE MALICE void of early speed and passed tired ones. NIGHT STICK raced within striking distance and faded. ICE AGAIN raced in the middle of the field, came around the first turn on the outside and dropped back. OTTER CREEK pressed the early pace, saved ground around the final turn, dropped back and trailed late.
