Chart notes
DARK BARON set the pace in the two path as an outer rival applied firm pressure, drew off approaching the half mile pole and widened under a mild drive. KYKEON stalked along the inside, proved no match for the winner before claiming place in the three path entering the lane, dug in while meeting an inner challenge for that position in the final furlong and held. PACE tracked two wide and between horses, stayed on to offer an inside bid for place at the sixteenth pole but was denied. COWBOY JUSTICE got a bit antsy in the starting gate then broke a step slow, lacked speed in the two path then moved up between horses. BRAGGADOCIOUS saved ground off of the pace to no avail. ROUNDBALL ROCK prompted outside of the eventual winner and from the three path, proved no match with a half mile to go then tired. FINISTERE stalked in the four path then faded while hanging on her left lead. STREAMSONG trailed in the five path and made little impact. JENNY'S BEIGNET raced off of the pace in the two to three path and failed to factor on her left lead. READY FOR ACTION pursued from the four path and weakened.
