Chart notes
SIR MAXIMUS set a clear pace in the two path entering the backstretch, was roused when challenged passing the quarter, dug in down the lane, and drew clear in the final sixteenth. AFJAN laid up close in the three path, bid under a ride at the top of the stretch, and ran on but got repelled by the winning pacesetter around the sixteenth. GO CATS tracked in the two path, was coaxed along the inside midway around the far turn, and finished evenly down the lane. SURPRSINGLYPERFECT had a slow start, rated in the three path, was cued from the two path midway around the far turn, but made no closing bid from the four path down the stretch. BODIE GOT GOLD stalked in the four path but backed up in the three path around the far turn.
