WINGS OF HEAVEN stumbled slightly exiting the gate, but still managed to press the early pace three-wide, ceded the front end midway down the backstretch, then launched a bid with three furlongs to run, bid for the lead at the top of the stretch, raced on the left lead to the wire but just managed to outlast a fast-closing rival on the outside. COUNT ON ME broke sharply but did not contest the early pace and dropped to last before the turn, but was never more than about five lengths back, was under a stiff drive on the turn racing three-to-four wide, produced a steady finish, and was getting to the leader in the final yards but came up a bit short. ROLLIN FREEDOM bobbled slightly at the start and was away awkwardly and last early, advanced in the run down the backstretch, keeping to the inside, responded when asked midway on the turn, split horses in upper stretch in a bid for the lead, had some trouble changing to the right lead, and was outfinished in the final furlong. MOST ADORABLE away well and showed good speed without really being asked, steadily retreated relative to the leaders down the backstretch, tried to come back on in the stretch, and was mildly gaining ground in the late stages. COMPUTER WHIZ was off a step slow, lost the path early, then moved over to the rail, rushed up the rail to take the lead before the half, was a length clear into the turn, then weakened in the final furlong. WILD MARIAH broke well and was one of the first to the front, was overtaken at the half-mile pole, maintained second position until late on the turn, then gave way under pressure, stopped, and was eased to the finish line and walked off.
