Chart notes
TRUVY'S BANDIT unhurried in the beginning, moved up between horses around the turn, angled to the outside, made wide bid and got up late. INDIA INK sprinted to the front, drove clear, but couldn't hold off the winner at the wire. ALTERANA raced in the middle of the field, saved ground around the turn, made a bid and proved no match for the top two. GLOBAL PRIDE void of early speed, made a wide gain, but was no real factor. SATURDAY'S GOLD lacked early speed, moved up on the inside, but was no threat. WAR SONG raced within contention, made a bid at the 3/8 pole, faded and was no threat late. EMPIRE KID pressed the pace, came around the turn on the outside and dropped back. GLOBAL STAGE showed early speed and made a steady retreat. LODE OF BLARNEY always raced near the back and was outrun.
