Chart notes
WAYLLEN RICHARD was rated nicely behind the pace, moved up to press the pace through the far turn and upper stretch, took a narrow lead inside the eighth and held firm. OLIVERIO showed good early speed, came under pressure by foes in the far turn, grudgingly gave way in the final furlong. DAN D'ORO raced in the middle of the pack between rivals, moved up to stalk the pace in the far turn and upper stretch, weakened in the final furlong, held for the show award. NO REMATCH raced on the inside of the middle of the pack, closed some ground in the far turn before angling out five wide at the quarter, showed a mild rally late but could not improve. PEYTON'S DAY was pinched back at the start, raced off the pace, closed willingly on the inside of the stretch. DIXIE DOCTOR was a step slow at the start, moved up to race three wide in the middle of the pack, retreated at the quarter. MUNCLE settled to race considerably off the pace, made no impact. SPOKEN CODE was pinched back at the start, trailed throughout.
