Chart notes
UNCLE DAR prompted the pace in the three path, was roused to bid midway around the turn, kicked on to duel with the inner pacesetter from the five path down the stretch, led passing the eighth pole, and held on. SHOWTIME MATINEE set the pace in the two path, faced an outer challenger while off the rail midway around the turn, was cued passing the quarter, swung from the four path into the stretch, dug in gamely while dueling with an outer foe into the final furlong, but got edged out. SAPPHIRE PRINCE raced off the pace in the two path, was ridden around the turn, angled out to the six path at the top of the lane, and evened out around the sixteenth. NINJA PRIZE chased in the four path, was driven in the three path around the turn, floated out to the seven path entering the stretch, and flattened. GO EAST rated in the five path, was coaxed along in the four path around the turn, but weakened down the lane.
