Chart notes
MIDNIGHT STREAK raced within striking distance, forwardly placed throughout, made a bid down the home stretch and drove clear. OCEAN'S RULER raced within contention, saved ground around the final turn, made a late bid, proved no match for the winner and was just up for second. HE'S READY TO WIN sprinted to the front, pulled away, lacked a finished and was caught for second. STEVE'S TROUBLE raced evenly near the back in the early going, made a wide bid, but was no real factor. EASY EDDIE A raced in the middle of the pack and put forth an even effort. LITTLEBITOFAJIMMY lacked early speed, moved up, racing inside, but was no factor. TOMS LUCKY MO raced within striking distance, faded and was no threat late. BOX OF CANDY always raced near the back and showed little. STRAIGHT DROPBILLY had an awkward start, blew the first turn and was never close.
