Chart notes
HOTTAKEJAKE saved ground off the pace, angled three wide to bid between foes nearing five-sixteenths pole, bid in upper stretch, took over nearing the eighth pole and drove clear. PEDRO NUNES raced off the pace three and four wide, continued on the left lead in the lane and rallied for the place. SURF'S UP dueled two wide between foes, battled past the eighth pole and held well enough to preserve the show. KING JULIEN pressed the pace in the three path, took the lead late on the turn, continued on the left lead in the lane and weakened. CHAPLIN steadied soon after the start, raced off the pace in the two path and never threatened. WINFROMWITHIN vied at the rail early and tired in the drive.
