Chart notes
TOUCHUPONASTAR quickly set an uncontested pace, began to pull away from the rest under little to no encouragement from the rider to be much the best. SIPPIN ON GIN raced off the pace through the first turn, steadily advanced up the backstretch on the inside to track the pace, improved to second but was no match for the winner. LETMIKEFIGUREITOUT tracked the pace three wide, closed some ground in the far turn but weakened in the stretch. BENOIT sat behind the pace, backed off in the far turn, had no more to give in the stretch. SONYA KNOWS BETTER trailed throughout, no factor.
