Chart notes
IMPERATRICE set a pressured pace two wide, shook clear leaving the five sixteenths and then was engaged by BETTY'S PEARLY by the quarter pole, turned back that bid leaving the turn and remained clear to the wire under strong handling. BETTY'S PEARL was well rated four wide and made a three wide move to go on even terms with the winner by the quarter pole, then was turned back by that rival leaving the bend but continued on gamely but was out-finished and had to settle for being clearly second best. QUIDDITY lunged at the break and then bumped a rival, had outside pursuit under restraint and chased the pace four wide on the turn, came five wide into the lane and proved to be no match for the top two while clearly besting the rest. IMAGE OF GRACE pressed the early pace three wide and then tracked the leaders two to three wide on the turn and then tired. SHOT AT PERFECTION stumbled badly and then was bumped at the break, angled in to chase the pace on the inside, raced in the two path on the turn and swung out five wide leaving the turn but weakened. LITTLE GEORGIE was bumped after the start, prompted the early pace from the inside and then went up to pressure the winner by the half mile marker, fell back leaving the five sixteenths and tired.
