Chart notes
GETTINBY away in good order, set the pace along the inside while in hand up the backstretch, continued under light restraint through the turn, drew out through the lane under a single left handed drop a furlong out, continued to increase that advantage to the wire under a steady hand ride to win ridden out. MIRACLE WORKER pressed the winner from the two path, proved no match for that rival through the lane, fully extended to narrowly preserve the place late. INCURSION back off the pace and the inside, came four wide for the drive, gaining late on the outside for the second spot. TEJON PASS in the second flight while racing four wide through most of the turn, lacked a closing punch. HEAVENLYCONVEYANCE within striking distance in the early going while racing in the three path, also came up empty in the drive. KUNAN back off the pace, shuffled back slightly along the rail after a quarter and was not a factor. NAT GAS was finished before a half.
