Chart notes
DICKIE T stalked the early pace three wide, moved up through the turn to challenge the lead, drifted out a couple paths, dug in for the win. A HINT OF SCANDEL showed good early speed, came under pressure between foes in the upper stretch, grudgingly gave way in the final furlong. BAD JOKE sat nicely behind the pace, moved up along the inside to press the pace at the quarter, faltered in the final furlong. CLEARLY ARTEMUS was off a beat slow, moved up to lead the second flight of horses through the turn, made no bid. HEAR THUNDER trailed shortly after the start, gained position on the inside rounding the turn, angled out three wide for the stretch but made no more progress. A G'S CHARLIE raced off the pace, made no impact. TDZMYSTREAMINHINT led the second flight of horses in the early stages, retreated at the three eighths.
