RUN YOUR MOUTH broke awkwardly but still showed good early speed without really being asked, went four-wide into the first turn, then settled in third position just behind the dueling leaders, ranged up to bid for the lead approaching the quarter pole while being confidently handled, took command in upper stretch, opened up, then held safe under steady handling from a mild bid from a rival on the outside. UNA MIRADA was slow into stride and raced at the back of the field through the early stages, advanced steadily three-wide from midway down the backstretch to gain contention approaching the stretch, finished well, slowly gaining on the leader, but ran out of time. TRAIN STATION settled alone between the tracking group and the trailers to the half, then moved up into contention headinginto the turn, bid 3-wide at the quarter pole, finished evenly but was not getting to the top two. BOSS GIRL hesitated at the start, then raced near the back through the early stages, then produced a good late run to improve, but was never a serious threat. DANZING MIST settled mid-pack inside, was prominent to the stretch, then lacked a finish. MINISTER CONFESSOR pressed the pace two-wide into the first turn, then opened up a bit heading down the backstretch, came under a ride when confronted by RUN YOUR MOUTH approaching the stretch, but did not respond and went one-paced through the late stages. STANDARD PRESSURE got off to a bit of an awkward start but was still able to grab the rail and the lead going into the clubhouse turn, dueled with MINISTER CONFESSOR down the backstretch, then gave way after passing the half-mile pole, steadily retreated through the field, and stopped in the stretch, was eased across the finish line, and walked off. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
