Chart notes
DRIED PEPPER unhurried in the early going, moved up on the outside around the second turn, made a wide bid, drove clear and held on well. B MINOR raced evenly near the back in the beginning, moved up on the outside around the second turn, made a wide bid and finished willingly. STEAUXLIT lacked early speed, gained ground late, but proved no match for the top two. CRIME SPREE raced within contention, forwardly placed throughout and weakened. SWEET RACHEL went to the front, drove clear around the final turn and faded down the home stretch. SPARRA pressed the early pace, saved ground around the second turn and faded. MOR BIG LEE void of early speed, came around the final turn on the outside and was never a factor. HEARTTHROB HALO always raced near the back, had an outside trip and showed little. CREOLE CHARLIE showed early speed, was finished early and trailed late.
