Chart notes
MRS SHIRLEY was allowed to settled while inside, rallied two wide on the far turn and was in a strong drive in the stretch and gamely dug in to be best. TOPIC THUNDER was allowed to settled then rallied three wide on the far turn, was in a long drive in the stretch but was out finished in late stretch. WITT'S DUBAI GAL was unhurried early while inside on the backstretch, rallied on the far turn and moved out to be three wide in upper stretch and was no threat in the end. DIG BABY DIG set the early pace while inside, was used up then gave way. SHAKE THAT THING was unhurried early then failed to menace. PRETTY IRENE chased the early pace while two wide, was used up and gave way on the far turn. CANDY THIEF was three wide on the backstretch then stumbled when heading into the far turn and was pulled and equine ambulance off the course. A steward's inquiry was held concerning the far turn. After reviewing the film's, no action was taken.
