IRISH GENT (IRE) raced off the early pace four wide, bumped midway around the first turn, was urged along while not making progress three wide around the far turn, angled six wide in upper stretch and rallied through the lane. PARIS SURPRISE saved ground off the pace, got through at the rail in upper stretch, rallied inside but was outkicked late. NAME IT raced up close two wide between foes early, bumped midway around the first turn, tracked inside around the far turn, tipped out in midstretch and finished evenly.
