Chart notes
ORVILLE B dueled for the lead with an outer rival while remaining a path off of the inside, then drove clear in the final furlong. NATIONAL STORY came out at the start, dueled for the lead outside of the eventual winner while being kept in the three path around the turn, then proved no match in the final furlong. PAINT THE TOWN broke a step slow, trailed in the four path, split foes in the five path leaving the furlong grounds and reeled in show at the wire. MOR CRAFTY chased along the inside, claimed show in midstretch but got nailed at the wire. RAY'S EMPIRE pressed outside of the top pair early on, but chased in the four path around the turn and faded. MIDNIGHT VOYAGE chased in the five to six path into the lane and tired.
