Chart notes
SAM THE SHAM was well placed towards the inside behind his barn mate on the turn, came three wide into the lane to make a bid inside the leader and caught that rival late and edged clear to prove best under a drive. VOLTAIC set the early pace and crossed over to show the way in the two path, began to get out leaving the quarter pole and came six to seven wide into the lane while still clear but was caught late and had to settle for being second best. VIKING SUN chased the early pace three to two wide, then settled and moved to the inside on the turn, then cut the corner leaving the turn but had no punch in the lane while getting the nod for the show award on the inside. ESCAPADES tracked the pace and was under a ride three to four wide on the turn, came five wide into the lane but lacked the needed kick while just missing the show award. ITZA TEAMSTER was off slowly, then bumped and steadied after the break, trailed while on the inside and saved ground on the turn, then ran on late and finished in between rivals on the wire. SIDEARM broke in and bumped with a rival while off slowly, reserved two wide on the turn and angled out late but lacked the needed rally. FIRST NAVY JACK (IRE) chased the pace four to three wide and then steadied and threw head leaving the three eighths marker and then stopped.
