Chart notes
DEER DISTRICT laid off of the pace in the three path, shifted out to the five path entering the final furlong, rallied to bid outside of the new leader nearing the wire and narrowly prevailed. CAN'T HUSH THIS stalked along the inside, awaited racing room behind the leader reaching the lane, slipped through to offer a rail bid leaving upper stretch, forged an advantage in the final sixteenth but got nailed by an outer bidder at the wire. SMOKEY SMOKEY stalked two wide and between horses, came under urging to sustain position around the turn, bid three wide and between foes entering upper stretch, vied into the final sixteenth but yielded late and saved show. DEMOLITION DUKE tracked three wide, bid in the four path entering the lane, vied four wide into the final furlong, but yielded between horses late and missed show. CLASSY WAR tugged clear early on, got headed by outer bidders in upper stretch and faded between horses leaving the furlong grounds. SPINNING PRIDE broke slowly and was last away, trailed in the four path and got outrun.
