Chart notes
NU WHAT'S NEW broke running, showed the way along the inside into the first turn, set all the pace, pulled away through the lane under intermittent urging in a sharp effort. PUBLISHER tapped slightly with ELEVEN BRAVO at the break, settled off the pace and the inside, bettered position by advancing three wide through the final turn, proved no match for the winner in the drive, clearly second best. BON TEMPS pressed the winner early in the two path, chased that one the middle half, proved no match for the runner up in the drive, remained well clear of the others. BARKER three wide and between horses in the main body first turn, moved slightly closer before a half, dropped to the inside for the final turn, went evenly to the wire in nonthreatening fashion. MYSTICAL MERLIN unruly loading, raced in the second flight while four wide into the first turn, lacked a closing response. ELEVEN BRAVO broke out, bumped lightly with the runner up, trailed most of the way to be always outrun. MAGICAL WISH was finished after a half, trailed home.
