Chart notes
RAYMOND stalked the pace on the outside, moved closer three to four wide late in the turn, challenged entering the stretch, kicked clear the final sixteenth under firm handling. BIG GAIN behind the pace while just off the inside for a half, dropped to the rail upper stretch, steered back out for room with less than a furlong remaining, finished willingly to be clear for the place, no threat to the winner. TURN UP THE TREES broke alertly,narrowly set the pace toward the inside, came in the two path for the drive while still holding a narrow advantage, could not match strides with the top two late, managed to save the show. VALE pressed the pace from the two then three path into and through the turn, steadily weakened through the stretch. CARAMEL CHIP broke back, lacked speed just off the inside, dropped to the rail exiting the turn, improved slightly upper stretch without making a serious impact. EL DIABLO ROJO last away, trailed early, made little impact while three to four wide turn. SUTHERLAND difficult to load, broke with the field, raced in mid pack for a half, had nothing for the drive. LORD MAJESTY was finished before a half, trailed home.
