COULDYOUBELOVED raced forwardly between foes early on, moved to bid inside of the leader at the three furlong pole, failed to sustain pressure with a quarter mile to go, then kept on grudgingly to be second best. MOMBAYLA broke awkwardly and bumped an inner foe at the start, raced off of the pace in the five to three path into the turn, shifted out to the five path in upper stretch ran on and gained show late. MINDY'S UNION tracked in the three to two path, chased in upper stretch, lacked a bid and yielded show late. GOLD DEL MAR shuffled back behind a foe with five furlongs to go, steadied repeatedly while well back along the inside approaching the turn, trailed around the bend, swung out to the eight path into upper stretch and rallied willingly. SMOOTH WAVES was bumped by an outer rival leaving the gate, stalked in the four to three path into the turn, came under urging with three furlongs to go, chased in the four path in upper stretch and yielded. B D'S ANGEL raced off of the pace in the three to four path, shifted to the six path into upper stretch and failed to menace. ARIRI (GB) broke slowly, trailed in the three path, progressed in the five path around the turn, fanned out to the seven path into the lane and failed to factor. ARMY GIRL raced off of the pace in the two path, got shuffled behind a faltering foe at the three furlong pole and failed to factor. COLOR ME FAST prompted along the inside early on, but gave way with nine sixteenths to go and steadily faded. TANGANYIKA lacked speed in the three path and never got involved. MEET IN SECRET pursued from the four path, chased in the two path around the turn and weakened at the quarter pole.
