Chart notes
INDY RAGS was well placed just off the pace on the inside, chased on the far turn, gained along the rail into upper stretch then made a bid, took the lead inside the furlong marker and edged clear under strong urging. CADDIEMASTER raced in the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, was given his cue in the three path on the far turn, took the lead at the quarter-pole, led under a drive into the final furlong then was overtaken while clear for the place. DOOMED bobbled just after the start, went to the front, showed the way in the two path, was asked late on the far turn, lost the advantage at the quarter-pole, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened. GOOD BALI was hustled from the gate, raced in the two path on the first turn, was rated just off the pace, went around the far turn in the two path while roused, chased into the stretch and tired. ALWAYS BE SMART raced in the three path on the turns and failed to rally. DESPERATE PROPOSAL saved ground on the first turn, settled at the rear, raced inside for most of the far turn then moved out, turned into the stretch in the five path and failed to threaten. SOLAR GLARE went around the first turn in the four path, settled on the outside, was urged along in the four then five path on the far turn and failed to respond. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate times.
