Chart notes
USHA had to steady when crowded early, moved back into range at the half-mile pole, challenged between the top pair at the five-sixteenths pole, took over late on the bend and led clear into the stretch, kicked away under strong handling and flagging from the crop, then coasted through the last sixteenth in an easy victory. FORMULA ROSSA lost her path leaving the gate, raced well off the rail up the backstretch, moved into striking distance three wide on the turn, tipped out at the top of the drive, rallied for second but could not threaten the winner. SIMPLY JOKING stalked along the inside, coaxed along next to the fence then two wide on the turn, moved into second at the eighth pole but was edged by FORMULA ROSSA for the place honors late. BRILLIANTLY was forwardly placed off the rail, bid four deep on the turn, could not kick on with the winner leaving the bend, flattened in the lane but was able to earn a minor award. HER LAUGH tracked from off the rail then outside a rival, went two wide into the turn then found the rail, moved out a bit at the top of the lane, steered back inside midstretch and failed to threaten. SO THERE SHE WAS broke a step slow, trailed two leaving the backstretch, came three wide into the lane, angled out in the drive and failed to threaten. SILENT LAW dueled from outside, vied three deep at the five-sixteenths pole, yielded to the winner and chased three wide turning for home, then faded in the lane. ARTISMA dueled from inside, fought inside rivals midway around the turn, was no match for the winner past the quarter pole, had already started to weaken when having to take up past the eighth pole and tired. FIVE G climbed early chasing off the rail, saved ground through the turn while dropping to last, then passed a tired rival in the lane. SCHILFLIED stumbled a bit leaving the gate, stalked outside a rival or four wide into the turn, got moved out to the five path around the bend and tired.
