Chart notes
POPPY RED bothered start, bumped both sides, raced near the back early, quickly moved up to pressed the pace, came around the turn on the outside and drove clear deep in the stretch. COUNTRY ANGEL lacked early speed, came around the turn on the outside, made a wide bid, was outfinished for the win, but was a clear second. GOLDEN BARCENTS broke out, raced near the middle of the field, made a late bid and got up for show. GIRL FROM DE BAYOU pressed the early pace, saved ground around the turn, lacked a kick and was caught for third. BOBBY'S GIRL showed early speed and faded. OUR INDIAN GIRL pressed the early pace, saved ground around the turn, faded and was no threat late. INSIPID lacked early speed and was never close. AT FIRST LIGHT broke in, always raced near the back and showed little. NEON MOONLIGHT flashed brief speed, dropped back and trailed late.
