GAS ME UP trailed in the two path into the turn, tipped three wide at the quarter pole, angled six wide across the dirt, rallied in tandem with SUMTER and bested that rival in deep stretch. SUMTER raced outside a rival from off the pace, rounded the bend in the two path, steered out into the lane, rallied to the front past the eighth pole but was outkicked by GAS ME UP in the late stages. ZIO JO laid off the pace in the two path, steered out crossing the dirt, moved further out into the lane, finished willingly and earned the show honors. EL POTENTE stalked outside a rival approaching the turn, angled to the inside after clearing that runner, eased off the fence and came three wide into the lane, bid three deep in upper stretch but flattened out in the late stages. SORRENTO SKY (IRE) dropped off the pace and angled inward, saved ground through the turn, tipped out into the stretch, tried to split foes but had to pause when lacking room, then kept trying once in the clear but was no threat. YELLOW CARD chased inside EL POTENTE early, had to pause when crowded a bit early on the turn, remained inside around the bend, looked to make a run but lacked room behind the top trio in upper stretch, split foes at the eighth pole, then moved inside but could not summon the needed rally. MOTORIOUS (GB) tracked three then four wide around the bend, bid between rivals in upper stretch but flattened out in the late stages. FLYOVER dueled from inside then ceded command approaching the turn, applied pressure to SCHWARZMEIER around the bend, dueled into the stretch, clung to a short lead at the eighth pole, lost command shortly after and folded in deep stretch. SCHWARZMEIER fought outside FLYOVER early while racing keenly in hand, cleared that rival nearing the turn and angled to the inside, confronted by FLYOVER again on the turn, fought inside that rival to the stretch, lost command outside the eighth pole and tired in the furlong grounds. AWESOME RHYTHM chased four wide into the turn, moved into the three path around the bend, angled five wide approaching the stretch and came up empty.
