Chart notes
SHADOW BANKING shied in at the start filling the space left vacant by ALIAS, who broke in a step, prompted the leader from the outside in the two path down the backstretch before advancing to duel through the turn coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, seized command swinging four wide into upper stretch, edged clear under a drive to inside the eighth pole, saw some of that margin cut into late with the outcome in no doubt. ROGER ROGER broke out a step at the start, chased three to four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn coming under encouragement three furlongs out, tipped four to five wide into upper stretch, offered up a belated kick to secure the place honors. IMPLACABLE coaxed from the gate, chased three wide advancing from the three-eighths pole through the latter portion of the turn to stack outside the top pair when called upon swinging five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive offering a bid to the eighth pole, then weakened in the final furlong. COPIOUS coaxed from the start, chased along the inside and then just off the inside under a ride with seven-sixteenths to go, spun three wide into upper stretch, weakened in the final eighth. ALIAS broke in a step at the start, showed the way in hand along the inside down the backstretch under some pressure from SHADOW BANKING to the outside, had that rival advance from the half mile pole and dueled through the turn under urging from just inside the three-eighths marker, yielded the front and spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired.
